The previous wrangles between Football Kenya Federation and the Kenya Premier League Limited will be a thing of the past.
This is after the two parties led by FKF president Nick Mwendwa held two fruitful meetings yesterday and today in Nairobi where both sides agreed to work harmoniously towards achieving better heights in Kenyan football.
According to Mwendwa both sides have agreed to craft a new agreement that will foster both sides relationship that has not been rosy in recent times.
“We have all agreed that the relationship between KPL and FKF has fallen short in the last one year and have decided to craft a new agreement that captures the correct position of both parties in order to mitigate against any possible fallout in the future,” said the FKF president.
Football Kenya Federation moved KPL to court having labeled four offenses on four Kenyan Premier League Limited officials namely Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier together with former KPL chairman James Musyoki, Mathare United boss Bob Munro and KPL CEO Jack Oguda.
“Further in the spirit of reconciliation FKF has decided to mute all charges that had been levied against three individuals from KPL, for bringing the game into disrepute,”Mwendwa concluded.
