Dafabet, a Philliphines registered online sports betting company is set for official launch in Kenya.
The company has already opened a new office hub in Nairobi, which will serve as a base for its African expansion programme and has already started their activities offering local punters the ability to wager on a variety of international sporting events with football included.
According to source close to the company operations the graund launch date will be announced soon as the customer continues to wager via Dafabet.co.ke website,a new mobile betting app as well as SMS text messaging.
“They have been around for about a year since they showed interest and have been operating for about a month but they are now ready to launch in a big way,” a source said.
Dafabet is the shirt sponsors of two English Premier League sides, Sunderland and Burnley besides sponsoring Celtic of Scotland and 1995 English champions Blackburn.
It is expected that the company will bring change in Kenyan market that is dominated by a domestic operator as well as Betway,Betin and Mcheza.
