KCCA FC Coach Mike Mutebi has named 18 member squad to travel to Egypt for their return leg match against Al-Masry in Cairo on Saturday.
Mutebi has retained most of the players he used when the team won 1-0 to Al-Masry in the first leg match played last weekend in Kampala.
However, of significance is the inclusion of vice captain Habib Kavuma, who missed the first leg encounter through suspension.
On Thursday, the Kasasiro boys’ tactician said he is confident that his charges can cause an upset in Egypt.
Mutebi, who watched helplessly as his side struggled to win the first leg match played at Philip Omondi Stadium, insists the boys can still qualify at the expense of the Egyptian opposation if they will stick to the KCCA FC style of play which is being offensive.
“We are not going to Egypt to defend the first leg score. We shall always play our way which is to use the ball smartly and create chances,”said Mutebi
“It is important for us to proceed to the group stages because it will help our players improve. You realize that there is a change in attitude, mentality and mindset from the 5 games we have so far played,”he added.
