Kampala Capital City Authority Football goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan has dedicated his CAF success to his late father Dominic B. Elepu after his heroic displays that helped his side progress to the lucrative CAF Confederations cup group stages past Egyptian side Al-Masry on Saturday evening.
Ochan saved two penalties and scored the winning penalty that saw KCCA FC progress into the group stages for the first time in their history.
“Thank you Jesus, it’s not me but it’s you. I dedicate my CAF success this term to my late father Dominic Elepu. Dad was a great adviser to me and my best friend, he always wished me the best and supported me since childhood. I wish you were here to me achieve this. I believe your a very happy man wherever you are Rest In Peace,” he said in an exclusive interview with Soka25east.com
Mr. Dominic Elepu passed on early in March 2017 at a time KCCA FC was preparing to take on South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns in the first leg of the CAF Champions League away in South Africa and Ochan went on to play the match and later headed for burial along with the KCCA family and colleagues upon return.
