Harambee Stars coach Stanley Okumbi has released his final squad that will face Malawi in an upcoming friendly match set to be played on Tuesday 18th April at Machakos Stadium.
The new faces in the squad include Western Stima duo of Fredrick Shimonyo,Keneddy Otieno and Thika United defender Collins Otieno who have made into the team for the first time.
According to a statement by the federation,the new additions were made to cover the void left by injuries and failure by a section of clubs to release their players as the friendly which is in preparation for the 2018 Chan tournament falls outside of the FIFA window for international matches.
Only two National Super League players Morven Otinya and Crispinus Onyango have made it to the 23 man squad.
