Ethiopia will host Uganda in an international friendly on 3rd June 2017 in preparations for the forthcoming 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers.
Ethiopian Football Federation president Juneidi Basha confirmed the warm-up slated for the Addis Ababa Stadium in the capital Addis Ababa.

The Walia Ibex, seeking a return to AFCON since 2013, are in group “F” of the qualifiers alongside Uganda’s neighbors Kenya, Ghana and Sierra Leone.
They will open their campaign away to Ghana on 9th June 2017.
Uganda, the 2017 Gabon qualifiers, are placed in group “L”, which also has Cape Verde, Tanzania and Lesotho.
The Cranes, coached by Serbian Milutin “Micho” Sredojevic will clash with Cape Verde away in their opening group tie also on 9th June.
The 32nd edition of the biennial premium continental showpiece will take place in Cameroon from 12th January to 3rd February 2019, with 16 teams taking part.
