Premier Soccer League have released dates for the matches that were not fulfilled in the week three of the 2017 fixtures.
These matches were called off due to the teams being involvd in the Independence Celebration trophy. Highlanders, Dynamos, Caps United and Platinum FC had their matches against Harare City, Chicken Inn, Black Rhinos and ZPC Kariba respectively cancelled.
Starting this weekend all the teams with backlogs will have a busy almost ten days of grueling encounters. These matches have been set for midweek dates of 17th and 18th May
The demanding one will be Caps United who will have to contend with a long trip to Egypt for Caf Champions League against Zamleck first this Friday. Caps are due to leave the country on Wednesday. The Green Machine will a make another trip this time on the road to Kariba to face ZPC Kariba.
Dynamos and Highlanders will follow suit in the “Battle of the Cities”. This blockbuster match has arguably been the biggest on Zimbabwean soccer calender for many many years. And appears their is no challenge to counter it anytime soon. Whether its played in Harare or Bulawayo as it will happen this weekend. It brings the best out of players, fans including neutrals, the press etc.
Dynamos will then host a team they call Chauya Chipembere – Black Rhinos at the giant National Sports Stadium.
Then we matches involving Platinum FC pitted against Chicken Inn at Luveve Stadium in Bulawayo and While Highlanders will be making a trip to Harare to meet the “Sunshine Boys” Harare City FC.
