One of Zambia’s envoys in the CAF club continental crusade Zanaco FC welcome Cotton Spot at Heroes Stadium this afternoon. In the match three of this years Champions league group marathon.
Group D is in the balance, no team seem to be running away with it. Three of teams have secured a win each but only visitors of ZANACO Cotton Spot has yet to pick anything in this group.

Coton sport were on the receiving end at home to Al Ahly were they lost 2-0 with goals coming from Ajayi and Zakaria in the first half. That means Al Ahly and ZANACO are locked on four points each, while Wydad is third on three points and Coton Sport bottom without a point.
This is an intriguing clash but home advantage should see ZANACO hold the edge going into this game. But Coton Sport won’t sit back for a beating knowing their progress depends on this one.
ZANACO will enjoy another home encounter against Al Ahly after this encounter and its important.
It will also be important to see how ZANACO lines up against Coton Sport but we have seen how such encounters are remembered as where teams have lost an opportunity to take charge of the group.
ZANACO have no choice bit to win this one before knowing how Wydad Casablanca and Al Ahly faces up on Sunday.
I won’t be bouyed yet but will look at this cautiously and Coton Sport will offer some resilience and are capable of getting a point.
