Botswana head Coach James Peter Butler named a strong squad of twenty players to travel to Kampala Uganda for the AFCON 2017 qualifier match against the hosts on Saturday June 13th.
The Zebras’ contingent that is expected to connect to Kampala via South Africa this morning consists of nine officials headed by Onkagatse Pusoentsi and is expected in Uganda this evening. The match will be hosted at the Namboole Stadium from 1600 hrs EAT and will be aired LIVE on Azam TV.
The hosts Cranes stepped up their preparations yesterday ahead of the tie with an international friendly match against Gambia at the same venue which ended in a 1-1 draw with goals from Robert Sentongo and Omar Jagne respectively.
