Everton have completed the signing of Henry Onyekuru from Belgian club KAS Euspen for a fee of around £6.8m, with the Nigerian forward signing a five-year deal.
The Toffees have been in talks with the Belgian club since May, beating Arsenal who led a string of Premier League teams interested in the 19-year-old.
Personal terms have now been agreed with the player’s representatives and Soka25east understands that Onyekuru will spend a season on loan with Anderletch before coming to the Premier League.
Onyekuru was joint top scorer in the Jupiler League, notching his 22 gials in 38 games for the Belgian outfit and has been of interest to of three other premiership clubs: Southampton, West Ham and West Brom.
Arsenal are also understood to have come close to signing him in January but Eupen refused to sell him during the winter transfer window.
Onyekuru made his debut for Eupen in 2015 as a 17-year-old and helped the club achieve promotion to the Belgian top flight in his debut season.
