Gor Mahia have appointed former English defender Dylan Kerr as their new head coach.
Kerr now fills the void left by Brazilian Ze Maria,who resigned from his post to join Albanian side FK Tirana in mid-June.
Karr a former England’s side Chesterfield U-18 and Simba SC of Tanzania gaffer will take over from caretaker coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’Otieno.
His appointment has ben confirmed by the club through a short statement on their official facebook page.
“After a competitive process of identifying a new coach, Gor Mahia FC has settled on Dylan Kerr to take over as the head coach after the exit of the Brazilian, Zemaria.
“Our new coach is expected in the country anytime between Friday and Saturday. Welcome to Gor Mahia FC Kerr,” reads the post.
The new tactician played his football with English side notably Shiefflied Wednesday and Reading.
He was in charge of Hải Phòng Football Club in Vietnam before joining Simba SC of Tanzania.
