Ghanaian intarnational midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has joined Spanish La Liga side Deportivo Alaves.
The 26-year-old moves from Panathinaikos of Greece in a deal that will see him remain in La Liga for three years.
This has been confirmed by his new club in a statement posted on official website.
“Deportivo Alaves want to welcome Wakaso and wish him much luck in this new stage,” the statement reads.
Wakaso left Panathinaikos after terminating his contract due to personal issues but wasted no time in securing a new club.
The Tamale-born player has also had stint in Russia, with Rubin Kazan, and Scotland, with reigning champions Celtic.
Alaves finished in ninth position last season and Wakaso becomes the eighth signing at the Vitoria-Gasteiz based side.
