Zambia super league defending champions Sensational Zanaco are likey to return the super league based on an assessment of several factors.The bankers are currently 10th on the log with 22 points, Twelve short of log leaders Napsa Stars who have 34 points but Zanaco have only played 11 games compared to 17 for Napsa .
Why do I say so?
They are a number of factors that I have considered before arriving at this conclusion.
HUGE POOL OF PLAYERS
The club has a alot of players and not Just players but quality players. The club suffered a massive exodus at the start of the season but have managed to get in new players and those that remained have been able to fill the shoes perfectly.

QAULITY SIGNINGS
The club has been working hard on bringing players to the club to reinforce the squad. The likes of Diddy Kitumbo,Julius Situmbeko, Boyd Mwangelwa and the return of Isaac Chansa has boosted the squad . These are quality players that have added/will add value to the bankers squad and help in their quest for an eighth league title.

GOOD YOUTH TEAM
Zanaco have a good youth team that has produced a number of good players along the years . The new bunch of young talents that have been unleashed include Langson Kapumbu, Damiano Kola and Kunda Nkandu who all have played for the senior Zanaco side this season already . The Young players are ready to step up incase of an injury or a player being out of form which is another reason for Zanaco to mount a serious challenge for the league.

SOLID DEFENCE
Zanaco have only allowed five games this far. The partnership of Ziyo Tembo and George Chilufya has been rock solid and one of the reasons the team won the league last year. They only conceded 16 games the entire last season .

The team has also been lethal in front of goal which will help them should they win at least 4 of their games in hand, They will go top of the log because of goal difference or points if they draw or win any of the last two. Zanaco have a 1.8 goal per game ratio while Napsa Stars have 1.2 goal per game ratio.
It should be made clear that this is a personal opinion and based the above parameters, not necessarily what will happen at the end of the season.
