Young attacking midfielder from Kenya,Mohammed Katana Nyanje popularly known as Messi Agege has signed with Portugal Division One side Sporting Lisbon,but the details of the contract are yet to be revealed.

The Mombasa native is likely to play with the reserve team until the end of the season.

Messi arrives at Lisbon from Aspire Academy in Qatar where he enjoyed his most succesful season last year,winning the Al Kass International Tournament where he scored two winning goals aganist Real Madrid.

He was also voted the best player in the competition which is a highly regarded tournament in world football.

At international level, the prolific midfielder has played with the U20 national team, where he made his debut in a friendly match aganist Senegal in February this year.
