Asante Kotoko have confirmed coach Steven Polack has been discharged from hospital,one week after being admitted following the tragic accident involving the team bus at Nkawkaw in  Eastern Ghana.

In a statement released on Thursday evening,Porcupine Warriors revealed that Polack was driven home by Accra and Premier League Board representative,Thomas Boakye Agyeman.

Polack underwent succesful knee sugery 24 hours after the accident that happened along Accra-Kumasi Highway on Wednesday July 12,three hours after premiership match involving Kotoko and Allies.

The tragic accident claimed the life of the team’s Deputy Equipment Officer,Thomas Obeng Asare who was buried on Wednesday at Esereso town.

The players who got injured were all treated and discharged hours after the accident are faring well in their recuperation.
