Uganda hammered South Sudan 5-1 in the second-leg of their 2018 Africa Nations Championship qualifiers on Saturday evening.
The hosts took the lead in the 35th through Paul Mucuurezi who headed in Nicholas Wadada cross past Khemis Daniel at Bright Stars goal.
Derrick Nsimbabi doubled the lead, before Mucuurezi added his second five minutes before the interval.
Bright Starts hopes of recovering was extinguished as the hero Mucuurezi made it 3-0 and before the South Sudanese could settle, he added in another goals on the 53rd minute.
Three minute later the midfielder who had wonderful day in office wrapped up the scoring in the second period.
South Sudan grabbed a late consolation in the 90th minute of the match as Cranes booked a date with Rwanda in the second rounf of the qualier after the Amavubi held Tanzania at home.
