The Azam Uganda Premier League giant Express FC is finalizing on a sponsorship deal to be unveiled within a period of one week.

Soka25east has realibly learnt that the club is at advanced stage of negotiations with a betting  firm for a proper sponsorship package.

This comes in the wake of sponsorship news brightening the face of Ugandan football with the goverment courting SportPesa to invest in the sport.

“Express is soon landing almost a sponsorship deal with a betting company. Almost every arrangement has been made and chances are high that the sponsor will pump around $200,000 per year into the club”, the source said.

This will serve as a reprieve to the Wankulukuku based side and good news to its fans owing to the fact that such a package will definitely boost performance.

Red Eagles currently do not have a sponsor after the expiry of DStv’s Ugsh 300 million one year deal that took them for the ended 2016/2017 season.
