Dutch first division side ADO Den Haag has acquired the services of Ugandan International winger Melvyn Lorenzen on a two year deal from the Bundesliga side Werder Bremen.
This was confirmed by the club in their official portal on Wednesday 26 July evening following the expiry of his contract with German side.
The 22-year-old is going to don jersey number 33 after making good impression to the techinical staff in the practise match aganist Lugdunum.
“I’m glad I can finally call myself ADO Den Haag player,” says Lorenzen.
“After my trial, it took a while before the official announcement was made, but I am always felt confident that i will do good for the club.
“In the first week of training, I have already got good feeling at the club. I am therefore looking forward to the next two years. ”
Lorenzen arrived in Bremen from Holstein Kiel in 2013. There he made his debut in the Bundesliga on 5 October 2013 in a duel with VfB Stuttgart subsituting Hagenaar Eljero Elia.Hr made five appearances in the Bundesliga and scored one goal.
The one-time Cranes player also made 54 apperances at Bremen II side.
He was born in London by a German mother and Ugandan father.
