Kenyan International McDonald Mariga has joined Spanish second tier side Real Oviedo.

The 30-year-old signed Oviedo on Monday from Italian side US Latina after completing a medical.

The club revealed on its official website that it is signing the veteran midfielder for the next season.

“Real Oviedo announces that it has reached an agreement to acquire the services of midfielder. The Kenyan midfielder joins the club on a contract for next season ,” the club said in a brief post.

Real Oviedo has also made a locanic announcement on their facebook page this evening to say that they will be presenting Mariga on Tuesday morning.

Mariga who has also played in Spain for Real Socidead,first established himself in fooball after arriving in 2007 at Parma before joining Inter Milan.
