Former AFC Leopards striker Gilbert Fiamenyo has joined Libya National League side Al Nasr Club.

This has been revealed by his former employer Ingwe in statement on Monday morning.

“We wish to notify our members and fans that the club received and has accepted a release request from Gilbert Fiamenyo.

“He leaves AFC Leopards to join Al Nasr club in Libya with immediate effect,”reads the statement.

However, the club did no avail the details concerning the deal but close sources to the player indicate he is going to be with the Libyan side for next two seasons.

Fiamenyo leaves Ingwe after playing 14 SportPesa Premier League matches having scored five goals and remains the club top scorer so far for this season.

The stiker signed for Leopards on a year-and-a-half deal after mutually terminating his contract with Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarf.
