By Austin Oduor Otieno,
Immediate former Simba star strike and Ugandan international Emmanuel Okwi may as well not play for his new Dannish club Sonderjyske after signing a 5 year deal last month.
Reports suggests that he may return back to Msimbazi on a loan deal after Simba failed to release his ITC claiming his new club owes them signing on fee worth $110,000(approximately Tsh 220million)
Simba SC however still remain sceptical over the loan deal saying they will only accept such a offer upon payment of the transfer fee. Simba Club president Evans Aveva said categorically that they wont stand in the way of the player but needed the transfer fee before releasing the transfer fee.
Reports however suggests that the Danish club may have found a replacement for Okwi a lower cost complicating matters in the transfer saga.
Okwi has not been new to transfer stalemate as Simba had issues with his transfer when he joined Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel before he was forced to leave the club for former home club SC Villa where he later joined Yanga and back to Simba.
Soka25east will keep it for the unfolding updates on the transfer saga.
