Junior Awono’s lone goal in the first half was all Indomitable Lions needed to trounce Eding Sport in a closed door friendly match played at the Fecafoot Technical Centre on Thursday 3 August.
The national team is currently in residential camp at the technical centre from Monday 31 July preparing for their two legged CHAN tie against Sao Tome and Principe on Sunday 12 August with the reverse tie coming three days later in Douala.
Eding Sport was using this match as part of their preparations for theier Ligue 1’s upcoming fixtures .
The national team it is expected to be slashed before Monday 7 August when they travel to Sao Tome to prepare for the match.
