Tanga based side Coastal Union has completed it’s signings with addition of 13 players in readiness for the Vodacom Premier league 2015/16 season.
Among the top players signed are goalkeeper Jackson Sabweto from SC Villa who signed a 2 year deal and Cameroonian Yassouph Sabo from Yaoundé FC who signed a 1 year deal.
Speaking at the club’s offices in Tanga,Head of Communications at the club Oscar Assenga said that those signed were from Clubs within the country and from outside the country.
The complete list of players are;
Abasalim Chidebele,Ismail Mohammed suma and Yassim Mustapa Salim (Stand United)
Adeyum Saleh(Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi,Zanzibar)
Nasoro Kapama and Ernest Mwalupani both from Ndanda FC
Sultan Juma and Ahinde Shibloi both from rival African Sports
Mohammed Mititi,Patrick Protus and Benedict Haale all free agents
The Tanga bassed club managed to convince nine of it’s players to remain at the club,they renewed their contracts and they include Constatine Bakari Mbwana,Abdalla Mfuko,Hamadi Juma Ibrahim,,Ike Bright,Abdulhaman Humu,Godfrey Wambura,Ayoub Sematama and Sued Tumbo.
The club has also promoted five players from the academy to the senior team,they include Mohammed Shekuwe,Sabri Sabri,Tumaini Bakari,Fikirini Suleiman and Mtenge Albano.
