Former Cameroon national team defender Geremi Njitap has been named the second vice-president of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations Organizing Committee.
Njitap,who is current president of the National Union of Cameroonian Footballers (SYNAFOC) was appointed in a committee that will be chaired by Boubakary Bello, who is the current Cameroon Football Federation (FECAFOOT) boss,
Also the President of Republic of Cameroon named Manga Lucien as the second vice president of the organizing committe with his Fecafoot colleague Mebizo’o Paul named as a member of the powerful commission.
Mohamat Moumine was appointed the Committee director with Manda Chantale Therese as his assistant.
The members were sworn in on Thursday 17 August by the Minister of Sports and Physical Education at the Sports Palace in Younde.
