Sonko beat incumbent Kidero by gannering about 811,995 (53.4 per cent) votes against 653,185 (42.95 per cent) of Kidero
Rumours has it that the iron lady who once contested in the 2013 MCA elections and lost before winning the Organising secretary position in Gor by landslide could land a position in the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Sonko’s yet to be appointed Government .
Sonko promised to refurbish the legendary City stadium to international standards after Kidero and team failed to fulfill their promise.
