Equatorial Guinea CHAN team yesterday left Malabo for Younde where they will rub shoulders with Cameroon’s local based players team in an international match slated for Sunday 10 September 2017.
The international friendly match is part of the Equatorial Guinea preparations for the 2018 CHAN finals that will be held in Nairobi,Kenya in January next year.
The home based Nzalang will use the tie aganist the Indomitable Lions that is under the guidance of Rigobert Song to strech their muscles up for the 2018 CHAN having qualified after withdraw of Gabon.
It would be recalled that the Equatorial Guinea lost 2-1 in another friendly played last Tuesday in Malabo aganist Benin.
The match remained in question of being used in the FIFA rankings despite the visitors win after reports emerged that the match referee,Joaquin Ela made controversial decisions that helped Benin win.
Earlier on,the Federation of Equatorial Guinea through their official website on Tuesday indicated the match would have been played in Malabo but sources close soka25east indicate Nzalang players have crossed into Cameroon for the match.
