The MTN/FAZ super league entered week 27 on Saturday with Heroes set to host a double. Big spenders Lusaka Dynamos took on Konkola Blades in the early Kickoff. Konkola started the Match strong putting Lusaka Dynamos on the back foot.
Dynamos where dealt a big blow as Captain Clatous Chota Chama received a straight red card before half time. Blades made their advantage count as Brian Chewe put them in the lead just 9 minutes after the red card.

Blades had alot of chances which they fail to utilise and probably were kicking themselves after ninety minutes as Chris Mugalu scored in a brace in a space of 3 minutes to give Dynamos three points.
In the second match defending champions Sensational Zanaco faced a big test in Zesco United. Sensational Zanaco started the match with intent and 12 minutes into the match Enerst Mbewe put Zanaco in the lead from inside the penalty area after some beautiful interchange of passes.
Zesco United became more lively and had a some few chances with a John Ching’andu shot in the 27th forcing Toaster Nsabata to make a finger tip save. The pressure paid off in the 38th minute as ‘Team ya Ziko’ were handed a penalty after Ziyo Tembo was judged to have handled the ball inside the penalty area. Jesse Jackson Were stepped up and calmly dispatched it.
This was not to the last penalty of the match as both received a penalty each in the second half in the 67th and 74th for Zanaco and Zesco respectively. Augustine Mulenga dispatched the bankers spot kick while Were did so for United.
As if three penalties was not enough drama for one game, Ben Adama Banh put the ball in his own net in the 82nd minute to hand Zanaco all three points.
ELSEWHERE
Twelve time Champions travelled to Lumwana with the match expected to a spectatcle as both coaches were facing their former sides. The match on the pitch itself did not make so much noise as neither team was able to break the deadlock in 90 minutes.

Power Dynamos players were looking to change history and get three points in a game against Mufurila wanderers a team they have failed to beat in 13 years. The plan was going well with Jimmy Ndhlovu striking early in the first half but former Nkana striker Giully Maziba made sure Power Dynamos run continued.
Another big spender, Buildcon FC was a home hosting the Honor Janza managed Red Arrows. Buildcon scored two goals each in either half to run away with.
Roy Sakwaanda’s goal scoring form continued as he scored the only goal of the Kabwe Warriors, Nakambala encounter.
Real Nakonde hed Nchanga Rangers to a goalless draw while Nkwazi and Green Eagles had a scoring draw.
