AFC Leopards raided Zoo FC for maximum points in a Kenyan Premier League tie at Kericho Green Stadium Sunday.

Ray Omondi grabbed a brace with Vincent Oburu adding the third for an emphatic 3-1 win over the KPL newbies.

Nicholas Kipkirui scored the consolation for the hosts in the dying minutes of the match.

Emerging from an impressive show in the Mashemeji derby where they stood up to their “in-laws” Gor Mahia in a 1-1 draw, Leopards hit the road running in Kericho.

Six minutes into play, Omondi sent home Marcus Ingotsi’s corner for the opener before grabbing his second of the day a minute past the half hour mark.

Ingwe sustained raids against the hosts in the second half leading to Oburu’s first league goal – notching in Ingotsi’s through pass for the third goal in the 55th minute.

Kipkirui managed to reduce the deficit minutes to the final whistle but it did little to prevent Leopards from breaking their unbeaten home record.

The resurgent Leopards move to 13th in the KPL standings on 27 points after 22 matches while Zoo maintain position 11 in the log with two points more.
