Kevin “Ade” Omondi has completed a move back to Gor Mahia from Administration Police after penning a three-year-deal.
Ade, who had trials with the Kenyan Premier League champions towards the end of the season, impressed coach Dylan Kerr who gave his signing the green light.
“I feel happy and relieved to be back stronger and more focused then before,” he told Soka25east.
Kevin, also famously known as “Password” left Gor Mahia after winning the 2013 KPL title for move to South Africa’s Moroka Swallows in the Premier Soccer.
However, the move flopped as he failed to acquire a work permit and was expelled from the country for overstaying his visa by 100 days.
He returned to the Kenyan scene but had unsuccessful stint with Sofapaka before rediscovering himself with AP in the National Super League.
He will reunite with his former teammates with whom his talent blossomed at K’Ogalo namely Musa Mohammed who is the current skipper.
Ade becomes Kerr’s second signing after former Ulinzi Stars forward Samuel Onyango.
Gor are also in the process of acquiring the services of Ivorian striker Ephrem Guikan.
