KPL fixtures out as Vihiga settles on Bukhungu
The Sportpesa Premier league governing council has released the 2018 fixtures
In the fixtures a total of 13 matches including the Super cup will go live meaning six matches for each of the rounds .
The matches will be highlighted with the Super cup match between league defending champions Gor Mahia against Gotv champs AFC Leopards on 28 January at the Moi International sports centre ,Kasarani
The actions will be on TV but KPL failed to state which station would air the matches .Sources told Soka25east.com that there is stand off between MP and Silva and KPL over an alleged contract deal stretching to 2022 worth Millions of shillings .
The round one matches will see newly promoted Vihiga United take on Mathare at the new Bukhungu Stadium while defending champions Gor Mahia will have a clash against Nakumatt .
On Saturday 3rd February Chemelil will take on Tusker at the chemelil complex while Nzoia will welcome Kariobangi Sharks at their Sudi home .
On Sunday Sofapaka will seek to topple the dockers Bandari while Posta will square it out with Gotv champions AFC Leopards
The first round will finalize on Monday when newbies Wazito plays against Sony Sugar as Kakamega Homeboyz who will use Mumias takes on either Ushuru or Thika United
The two legged relegation play off between Ushuru and Thika will decide which team fills the 18 team league
