Panama are looking at a possibility of playing Senegal in a friendly as they seek to intensify their preparations ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Panama who qualified for the global football showcase for the first time since 1978, has requested to host the friendly against the West African giants later in March next-year.
Meanwhile Soka25east is unable to confirm if Senegal Football Federation has accepted to honor the friendly request. Initial contacts made with Senegal technical bench indicate that the team is not yet informed of any agreement reached with Panama.
However, latest reports indicate that more five teams are jostling to play against the Lions of Teranga.
The teams include Croatia, Serbia ,South Korea and Costa Rica and serious intermediaries are said to be working on the plans for the friendlies.
Panama football team will play England, Belgium and Tunisia in their World Cup group while Senegal fell in Group H of the tournament with Poland, Colombia and Japan.
