Nigeria have agreed to play England in an international friendly as part of preparations for World Cup 2018.
According to Monday Evening, the friendly will be played at the Wembley Stadium at a date to be decided by both teams.
Both countries have clashed once at this level, in November 1995, when England won 1-0 at Wembley courtesy of a David Platt headed goal.
The Football Association earlier wanted Three Lions to face Senegal but dropped the idea after they realized they could face in the last-16 depending on their standings in the groups..
England are scheduled to face Tunisia in their World Cup opener in Volgograd on 18 June.
The Super Eagles are drawn in Group D along with Argentina, Croatia and Iceland, while England are in Group G with Belgium, Panama and Tunisia.
