Club Deportivo Lugo defender Serge Leuko has agreed a two-year contract extension, the Segunda B club have confirmed.
The deal keeps the 24-year-old Cameroonian defender with the Spanish side until 2020, bringing his stay at the club to five years.
“CD Lugo have today [Tuesday] agreed to extend the Cameroonian international’s contract for a further two years,” the club said in a statement.
Leuko will now be making a return to his club after lapse of his one-year loan stay at Tercera Group 1 outfit, Somozas where he made 28 league appearances scoring one goal for the club.
The promising defender who has earned four caps with the Indomitable Lions, rose through the ranks of RCD Mallorca junior side, having been sponsored by Samuel Eto’o foundation.
Leuko made his international debut in March this year, where played in two consecutive friendlies against Tunisia and Guinea.
