Kenyan Premier League bigwigs Gor Mahia have confirmed roping in highly rated creative midfielder Humphrey Mieno – beating fierce rivals AFC Leopards to his signature.

Mieno, who was among fourteen players let go by Tusker this week, finally gets to join the KPL champions after past failed attempts.

He was initially rumored to be heading back to AFC Leopards who were angling for a reunion but in a bitter twist of events, the Kenyan international chose K’Ogalo – penning a three-year-deal Friday.

Gor are plotting to retain their title next year and have set a target of reaching group stage of the African Champions League.

Paul Nkata

The Ugandan gaffer has returned home to sign with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in the Ugandan Premier League after parting ways with Bandari FC.

Nkata shot to fame in 2016 after guiding Tusker to the season’s KPL glory.

But surprisingly after the feat, he ditched the Brewers for Coastal side Bandari for a season that didn’t yield expected results.
