Cameroon left full back Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo has joined French League 1 side Montpellier for unknown duration.
Oyongo, 26, was a free agent after seeing through his contract with Canadian side Montreal impact which ended this month.
The former Coton Sport player moved to New York Bulls in March 2014 after successful trials but only lasted the year before being traded to Montreal in January 2015.
Oyongo raptured his patellar tendon in an AFCON 2017 qualifier which they won 1-0 against Morocco and sat out the better part of the year recovering.
He was effectively ruled out of the finals in Gabon which the Indomitable Lions went ahead to win.
