Defending ZSL champions Zesco United are not taking the CAF champions league preliminary match against Zanzibar’s JKU lightly
The Zambian heavyweights have sent spys in the 2018 edition of the Mapinduzi cup where their CAF champions league opponents JKU are scheduled to take part
According to inside sources at the Ndola based club ,the management has already sent a team of spy’s to check on the Zanzibar champions
JKU known as Jeshi la Kujenga Uchumi will open the annual Mapinduzi cup against fellow Islanders Mlandege on Friday 29th December ,2017 at 2pm.The march will be played at the Amaan Stadium with the second assignment for the Zanzibar champions the following day against Zimmamoto FC .
The most interesting match will be that against Yanga coached by Zambian George Lwamdamina who formerly handled Zesco .This match will be played on 4th January and keen interest will be on the match .
Zesco United will monitor the two JKU stars who have been instrumental in the league so far ,Nassor Mattar and Salum Mussa .The two players were also part of the Zanzibar squad that reached the Cecafa finals losing to Kenya on penalties
Zesco will play both home and away to JKU with the aggregate winner meeting the winner between Buffles due Borgou against ASEC Mimosas
