Stade de Malouzini, currently under construction at a cost of €12million will be ready in May 2018.

Speaking to press, Chinese Ambassador to Comoros, Wang Leyou disclosed the contractors, IPPR International, had assured them that the stadium would be ready for use in that period.
“At the pace they are moving, we are expecting all work to be complete soon. What slightly delayed finishing of the project was the drainage system, but the contractor will complete that in time,” Leyou said.
A spot check at the facility by soka25east today revealed that work on the stands is almost complete and laying of gravel on the pitch is almost done.
With five main entrance gates, the stadium built by goverment of China, also has a car carrying capacity to accommodate 100 vehicles plus 60 closed-circuit Television cameras to be mounted not forgetting a well-furnished VIP lounge and an extended roof.
When completed, the Stade de Malouzini Stadium will be the largest playing field in the country which will actively be used for the Comoros Ligue 1 championships.
