Malawi police Side Club Blue Eagles FC have landed an international friendly invite by Tanzanian Sports organizing firm Smart Sports General Supplies to participate in a friendly match scheduled for this weekend in the Southern Tanzanian city of Mbeya.
According to Nyasa times, a letter signed by smart Sports general Supplies Managing Director George Wakuganda stated that the Malawian club will play against Defending Tanzania League Champions Yanga on Saturday 15th August before playing against host team Mbeya City the following day. Both matches will be played at the Sokoine Stadium.
According to George, the friendly matches is aimed at strengthening relationships between Blue eagles and Tanzanian Clubs together with Nation ties.
However, Blue Eagles are yet to confirm participation from the Malawi Police Service considering the same team was just a few weeks ago triumphant in a South African Regional Police championships beating South Africa 1-0 in the final in a tournament played in Swaziland.
