Sofapaka Vs Nakuru All Stars (Nyayo Stadium)
Fresh from downing 13-time champions AFC Leopards 2-1 over the weekend, All Stars will be feeling bullish when they take on unpredictable Sofapaka tomorrow Friday,August 14.
Coach Peter Okidi believes his tactics are finally working, and he can build on the big kill for more positive results, as they battle to remain in top flight football next season.
A win over “Batoto Ba Mungu” will be their third of the season, and will push their points tally level with fellow strugglers City Stars at 17, but still remain rooted at the bottom of the table, unless they win by a huge margin.
Sofapaka who let go their lead to settle for a 1-1 draw Vs Ushuru FC last Friday, will be hoping to put aside the set back and bounce back to winning ways, and stay on course to second spot finish in the league.
The domestic cup holders are currently third on the log with 40 points, four behind second placed Ulinzi Stars who has played a match more.
The first stanza of this encounter ended 3-1 in favor of Sofapaka, and a possibility of a double tomorrow is not far fetched.
Kick-off 07:00 PM
