Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of Zanaco and Chipolopolo forward Augustine Mulenga.
The current Zambian Footballer of the year has signed a three year deal with the South African PSL side.
Pirates Administrative Officer Floyd Mbele announced Mulenga as a Pirates player on the club’s official website.
“We are delighted to have finally secured the services of Augustine. He is an accomplished player who has all the qualities to make an immediate impact at the club.
“I would like to thank the Zanaco management for the professionalism during the negotiations, ” Mbele said.
The 28 year old Mulenga, was part of the Chipolopolo squad at the 2018 Total African Nations Championship being held in Morocco, netting 3 goals but saw his side eliminated from the competition at the quarterfinal stage after losing 1-0 to Sudan.
