Zanaco coach Numba Mumamba says his team’s 2-1 loss to Chicken Inn during a preseason friendly played today is a good preparation for the upcoming assignments.

In a post match reaction after the game, Mumamba described Chicken Inn as a very good side.

“I think they are a very good side. That is what I was telling my team when I was briefing then. We played them in Ndola at a 4 teams tournament and they played very well.

“And I told them this team is better than Platinum. And it showed today,”

Numba said.

The Zanaco trainer attributed the loss to Pressure.

“They have very good pace upfront and I think that’s why we conceded the second goal. It was pressure that the strikers made on the defense and they got the winning goal.

“I think it was a good training, Chicken Inn has given us the much needed match fitness for the team. I think we are ready for the game (against Armed Forces) next week.

The Bankers’ tour of Zimbabwe started on a bright note with among them, a 4-1 victory over Ferroviaro De Beira and a 4-0 victory over Platinum Stars and this definitely presents them with a good preparation for the CAF and Domestic League Assignments.
