The Angolan Football Federation (FAF) has confirmed that the top-flight match between 1º de Agosto and Progresso do Sambizanga set for Saturday has been postponed due to the latter’s African commitments.
D ‘Agosto will face Zimbabwean side FC Platinum this weekend in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League and are thus unavailable to take on Sambizanga at the Estadio 11 de Novembro Stadium.
Zoran Manojlović’s men are clear of health in the dressing room and are ready to face the Harare based outfit on Saturday as they look to begin their journey in African football with a positive start.

The federation further explained this is accordance to the administration plans to have the next edition of Girabola start in the month of November. FAF has scraped this seasons domestic Cup and Super Cup.
