NKANA READY FOR CR BELOUIZDAD
Nkana has done well in preparations for the CAF Confederation Cup First round tie against CR Belouoizdad coming up on 6th March 2018.
The friendly away to Gor Mahia were Festus Mbewe got them a draw is a good preparatory match and it shows the seriousness that Nkana are putting in this tie.
Elimination at this stage will be a big disappointment for Nkana who were put aside from the preliminary round owing to their superb performance in 2014.
Remember Nkana started in the Champions League in 2014 and dropped into the CAF Confederation cup.

Preliminary Round
Nkana lost away in the first round to Mbabane Swallows 2-0 in the first leg of the preliminary round .
They turned that around in the second round with a 5-2 win with a brace from Ronald Kampamba and a hat trick from Simon Bwalya.
Nkana won 5–4 on aggregate and advanced to the first round.
FIRST ROUND
Nkana drew at home with Kampala City 2-2 and went on to win away 2-1 in Uganda .
Nkana won 4–3 on aggregate and advanced to the second round.
Second Round
Paired against Zamaleki and drew 0-0 at home and went on to win 5-0 away.
Zamalek won 5–0 on aggregate and advanced to the group stage. Nkana entered the Confederation Cup play-off round.
CONFEDERATION CUP 2014
Pre Group Qualification
Drew with CA Bizertin 0-0 and drew 1-1 away in Tunisia.
1–1 on aggregate. Nkana won on the away goals rule and advanced to the group stage.
GROUP STAGE
Nkana grouped against Al Ahly, Sew Sports and Etoile Du Sahel. Finished thirdbin the group and knocked out of Confederation Cup.
Won two against Al Ahly and Etoile Du Sahel , Drew one and lost three.
2018 CONFEDERATION CUP
Back in the CAF Confederation Cup and on bye in the preliminary round but handed a tricky encounter against CR Belouoizdad of Algeria with the first leg coming up on 6th March and the second leg on 16th March.
That will be the first round.
CR Belouizdad is currently 10th in the Algerian league and have only won 5 games in 23 games, drawing 9 and drawing 7. They have scored 14 goals in those number of goals and allowed 20.
