Klabu ya Simba nchini Tanzania maarufu kwa jina la Wekundu wa Msimbazi , wametangaza kuagana rasmi na kipa wao wa siku nyingi Ivo Philip Mapunda.
Uongozi wa Simba unasema Mapunda ambaye zamani alikuwa anaichezea Gor Mahia ya Kenya ameondoka Msimbazi baada ya kushindwa kutoka ushirikiano wakati alipopatiwa mkataba mwingine kusaini.
Ripoti zinasema kuwa Mapunda tayari alikuwa amekabidhiwa Shilingi Milioni 10 za Tanzania kabla ya mkataba huo lakini hakujitokeza kufanya hivyo.
Msemaji wa Simba Haji Manara amesema, “Tumekuwa na kikao na Ivo, baada ya kushauriana na kocha wa magolikipa,”.
Manara ameongeza kuwa kocha ameridhika na uwezo wa magolikipa waliopo kwa maana ya Vincent Angban kutoka Ivory Coast, Peter Manyika na Dennis Richard.
Kipa huyo amethibitisha kuondoka Simba na kuwashukuru mashabiki wa klabu hiyo anayosema ameondoka kwa amani.
Mapunda anakumbukwa sana na mashabiki wa soka nchini Tanzania na Kenya kwa mbwembwe zake na kutumia taulo lake jeupe akiwa langoni.
