Chipolopolo Coach George ‘Chicken ‘ Lwandamina has called 13 professionals ahead of a crunch 2017 AFCON qualifier against the ‘Harambe’ Stars of Kenya on 6th September in Nairobi.

Green Buffaloes on-loan striker to Mozambique’s Macobola side Costa Do Sol Lineker Mwikisa has not made Lwandamina’s team.Mwikisa has been in exceptional form scoring 5 goals in 7 games and has helped the team maintain top spot in the league.

Zambia’s export to China Jacob Mulenga has asked to be left out of the squad saying he is not in the right frame of mind to play for the 2012 AFCON Champions.

Lwandamina’s has also made a major call back with the king of goal Scoring Collins ‘King David ‘ Mbesuma returning to the Squad.Mbesuma who plays in South Africa has alto of experience that he brings to the table.He still holds the most goals scored by a striker in the PSL 35 while at Kaizer Chiefs .Mbesuma has not been called for Chipolopolo in long time.

Nkana Forward Walter Bwalya who was suppose to join the local players in camp last week has finally joined the team.
