The government of Uganda has approved a 10 billion shilling ($270,000) budget for the Uganda Football Federation (FUFA) for the reminder of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

The money comes as a windfall for the federation which has always been given grants by the government coming ahead of the September Group L qualifier between Uganda Cranes and Taifa Stars to be hosted at the Nelson Mandela Stadium in Namboole.
FUFA President Moses Magogo confirmed to www.soka25east.com about the new development saying “we are glad to get government support in our different initiatives this will go along way in ensuring the team gets adequate preparations ahead of the qualifiers which are very important”.
FUFA also released the ticketing information for the game seeing a reduction in prices with the cheapest going for UGshilling 15,000.
VIP tickets will go for UGS 40,000 and VVIP UGS 150,000.
