Clarence Seedorf has been appointed as the new manager of Cameroon, with Patrick Kluivert as his assistant.
Cameroon’s Ministry of Sports made the announcement on Saturday, with the country preparing to host the Africa Cup of Nations next summer.
The Indomitable Lions had been linked with ex-England boss Sven Goran-Eriksson , but have ultimately enlisted the Dutch duo.
Seedorf has managed three clubs since retiring as a player in 2014, while Kluivert has had assistant roles at a number of sides and been a director of football at PSG.
The iconic midfielder coached AC Milan, Shenzhen and Deportivo La Coruna before taking up his new position in charge of the Indomitable Lions.
