The Saints FC 0-1 KCCA ( Namboole Stadium)
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club recorded their second win of the season, bouncing back from the 1-1 draw against rivals Express FC on Tuesday to beat hosts Saints by a solitary goal.
The early goal came from Suleiman Akinyemi in the 10th minute after Michael Burungi crossed into the box from the right with the ball landing onto the waiting feet of the Nigerian import who didn’t waste time to drive it into the net.
The proceedings thereafter were in favor of the visitors who created numerous scoring chances but were wasteful in front of goal.
“We did not play the way I expected. We have won but still they made lots of mistakes.” KCCA coach Sam Ssimbwa said during post match interview.
The win takes their points haul to seven in three fixtures.
