Mamelodi Sundowns have announced the signing of South African international Phakamani Mahlambi from Al Ahly of Egypt on the final day of the Premier Soccer League transfer window.
The move was confirmed by Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane who told Soka25east.com exclusively on Thursday night” It was two weeks of solid work the Egyptians are tough negotiators”

The 21 year old is a direct replacement for Khama Billiat who joined archrival Kaizer Chiefs.
Masandawana where chasing School of Excellence product following the departure of Khama Billiat to Kaizer Chiefs and the Brazilians have now confirmed that Mahlambi joined the defending champions .
Sundowns are believed to have paid (R13,2 Million) for Mahlambi.He is the first South African player to play in Egypt.

Mahlambi was quoted as saying in a tweet by Sundowns” I have signed a five year deal and I plan to make them count”
Mahlambi had struggled for game time in his single season in Egypt since his signing from Bidvest Wits in September last year with 15 League games and one goal for Al Ahly in 2017/18.
The Brazilians have already signed the likes of Toni Silva,Andile Jali,Lebogang Maboe,Jose Ali Meza and Lyle Lakay to strengthen their squad for the 2018/19 season.
