Timu ya taifa ya soka ya Rwanda, Amavubi Stars inajiandaa kumenyana na Ghana siku ya Jumamosi katika mchuano muhimu kutafuta nafasi ya kucheza katika fainali za mataifa bingwa barani Afrika mwaka 2017 nchini Gabon.
Amavubi Stars watakuwa nyumbani katika uwanja wa Amahoro kuwakabili Black Stars katika mchuano ambao umeanza kuzua hisia kwa mashabiki wa Rwanda na Ghana.
Kuna wale wanaosema kuwa mchuano huo utakuwa kama vita vya Daudi na Goliath huku wengine wakiona kuwa Rwanda ina nafasi nzuri ya kutumia uwanja wa nyumbani na kupata ushindi.
Mashabiki wa Ghana na baadhi ya wachambuzi wao wanaona kuwa historia ya Ghana katika soka la Afrika inaweza kuwasaidia katika mchuano huo wa Jumamosi na safari yao ya kuelekea Gabon.
Tangu mwaka 2004, Ghana wamekuwa wakifuzu katika mashindano ya mataifa bingwa barani Afrika na mwaka 2015 wakati michuano hii ilipofanyika nchini Equitorial Guinea, Black Stars ilifika katika hatua ya fainali.
Ghana pia inajivunia wachezaji wengi wanaocheza soka barani Ulaya.

Rwanda ikiwa ugenini ilipata ushindi wa bao 1 kwa 0 dhidi ya Msumbiji jijini Maputo.
Ghana nao walianza vizuri kwa kupata ushindi wa mabao 7 kwa 0 dhidi ya Mauritius.
